Are you an aspiring Commis Pastry Chef looking to take your career to the next level? The Catering Company, a leading provider of high-quality catering services in Kensington VIC 3031, is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a part-time Commis Pastry Chef.

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting the Head Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of a wide range of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods

Ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation in all pastry items

Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environment in the pastry section

Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new and innovative dessert offerings

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Hours start from 3pm on a 6 day rotating shift

What We're Looking For

Formal training or qualifications in Pastry or Baking, or equivalent experience

Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious pastries

Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle the demands of a fast-paced kitchen

A team-player mentality and the ability to work collaboratively with the culinary team

Familiarity with industry-standard pastry equipment and techniques
