Pay rate:

Enrolled Nurses - $42.54 + penalties + superannuation (inc. cas loading) based on experience.

We are looking for motivated Enrolled Nurses to provide holistic, person-centred community nursing care and support to our clients. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for delivering safe and effective nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

For Enrolled Nurses:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development, modification, and evaluation of care plans
• Administer medications
• Perform subcutaneous injections
• Administer insulin using a sliding scale
• Enact Positive Behaviour Support Plans
• Have experience with mental health conditions and de-escalating challenging behaviours
• Work a rotating roster (AM/PM/ND)
• Complete comprehensive progress notes
• Liaise with GPs, care coordinators, RNs, and allied health professionals
• Provide direction and supervision to support workers
• Attend to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required

Essential Requirements for Enrolled Nurses (Selection Criteria):

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions
• Diploma of Nursing
• Willingness to work across both AM and PM shifts with occasional nights
• First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to acquire)
• National Police Check (or willingness to acquire)
• Worker Screening check (or willingness to acquire)
• Ability to work under indirect supervision
• Proven technological, communication, and time management skills
• A passion for providing quality care
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• A valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel to clients' homes

New graduate nurses with a background in care or support work may also be considered.

The successful applicants will be employed on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role.
