Enrolled Nurse (EN) – Community & SIL Support | North Brisbane (Caboolture Region)

Focused Health Care is currently seeking motivated and passionate Enrolled Nurses to join our growing team in North Brisbane. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes, elderly clients, and people with disabilities in our community.

We have an immediate position available in Caboolture – North Brisbane region.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Enrolled Nurse Registration with AHPRA
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Valid Blue Card / Yellow Card
• Current Police Check

Preferred Experience:

• Community nursing experience or exposure to high care
• Experience in aged care, palliative care, disability support, continence management, gerontology, and complex nursing care

Key Skills:

• Ability to work independently as a clinical practitioner in a community environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Mandatory Requirements:

• Availability to work PM and weekend shifts (Tuesday to Saturday)
• Current Class C Driver's License and access to a fully comprehensively insured vehicle (km allowance provided)
• Access to a smartphone device
• Competence in NMBA standards and registration with AHPRA
• Adherence to Focused Health Care’s Code of Conduct and Confidentiality Agreement
• Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations (Hepatitis B/C serology, Chickenpox, MMR, ADTP)

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clinical assessments
• Wound care and therapy
• Monitoring clinical deterioration
• Medication management and compliance
• Continence management
• Palliative care
• Cognitive assessments
• Care planning and case management

• Work within your role description and scope of practice
• Perform nursing tasks including:
• Safely transport clients as required (mileage claimable)
• Support new staff during orientation
• Comply with workplace health and safety policies and procedures
