About the Role
Are you a confident, experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? Harmony Support Australia is seeking a proactive and passionate Team Leader to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition into a part-time role for the right person.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on position where you’ll provide direct support to clients while also helping to build, guide, and support strong frontline teams. You will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture, ensuring high-quality support, and contributing to the wellbeing and independence of people with disability.

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide high-quality, person-centred support to clients in their daily activities and community engagement

Support the coordination and oversight of day-to-day support services

Mentor and guide support staff to build a capable, compassionate, and reliable team

Assist in the onboarding, training, and supervision of casual staff

Work collaboratively with clients, families, and professionals to ensure responsive, tailored support

Support compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and Harmony’s internal procedures

Model a “can-do” attitude, strong ethics, and professional practice at all times

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Disability Support Worker (minimum 2 years preferred)

A natural leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

A strong understanding of person-centred and strengths-based practice

Familiarity with NDIS processes, documentation, and quality standards

Reliable, flexible, and able to take initiative in a dynamic support environment

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

NDIS Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card

Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
