We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected aged care provider for an experienced and forward-thinking Facility Manager to lead a fully compliant, large home in stunning Ballina. Overlooking the water, this facility offers a peaceful and beautiful setting for residents and staff alike. This is a well-run, high-performing site with a stable and committed workforce, including strong clinical leadership. A key feature of the home is its large memory support unit — ideal for someone with experience or a genuine passion for dementia care.

Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across clinical, lifestyle, hospitality, and compliance areas.

Inspire and develop a high-performing, values-led team.

Uphold strong clinical governance and ensure full regulatory compliance.

Champion quality dementia care across the memory support unit.

Drive innovation and service improvement to enhance resident and employee experience.

Actively contribute to strategic and operational planning with a self-motivated, hands-on approach.

Person

Proven leadership experience managing a sizeable residential aged care facility (ideally 100+ beds).

Self-driven and highly motivated, with a passion for innovation and doing things better.

A calm and composed leadership style that promotes stability and trust.

Clinical background (Registered Nurse or similar) strongly preferred.

Experience or a strong interest in dementia care.

Excellent communication, team-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and improve performance.
