The Role
In this role you will be in a pivotal leadership position overseeing and ensuring the delivery of high-quality operational leadership across the groups 8 Residential Aged Care Facilities.
Reporting to the Chief Client Officer, your focus will be on driving clinical and operational excellence to ensure the delivery of high-quality person-first care, regulatory compliance and financial sustainability.
With direct responsibility for the homes managers, it is important you have the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, dedicated to enhancing resident well-being through evidence-based best practices, show innovation in care models and staff development. By driving quality initiatives, strengthening governance frameworks, and promoting a proactive approach to risk management, you will ensure that residential aged care services not only meet but exceed industry standards.
Requirements
It is imperative that you have a strong operational background within residential aged care where you have been responsible for overseeing a portfolio of homes. It is also critical that you have the following:
- Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA Registration
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire teams, fostering a high-performance and supportive culture.
- Demonstrated experience and resilience in managing multiple Aged Care Residences
- Excellent risk management skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate clinical and operational risks.
- Strong operational and financial management acumen, ensuring efficient service delivery, optimised resource utilisation, and achievement of financial targets while maintaining high quality care.
- Comprehensive Aged Care regulatory knowledge and a proactive approach to staying updated with regulatory changes and ensuring compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in leading clinical initiatives driving compliance, improved resident outcomes and improvement efforts.
- Experience in stakeholder management, including collaboration with external bodies, regulatory agencies, families, residents/clients to ensure the delivery of integrated and responsive care.
Benefits
In addition to a salary circa $200,000 - $210,000 + super + salary packaging benefits, this role will allow you to truly solidify your leadership skill set.
