About the Role
As an Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for a range of financial and administrative tasks to ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, POS software management, stock management oversight, member onboarding, and financial reporting. This role requires high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices, manage approvals, and ensure timely payments.

Generate and issue invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and manage debtor accounts.

Process payroll, verify hours, and ensure compliance with award conditions.

Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting.

Perform reconciliations, manage BAS, GST, PAYG, and superannuation reporting.

Oversee MYOB Teams app, POS system management, and membership onboarding.

Support internal and external audits, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance.

About You:

Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration.

Strong knowledge of MYOB, Excel, and accounting principles.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.

Understanding of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and relevant awards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
