About the role

Iron Bull Mining Pty Ltd is seeking a part-time Accounts Officer to join our team in West Perth, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a US Private Equity investment fund that invests around the world. As Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for a range of accounting and administrative duties to support the overall financial management of the business.

What you'll be doing

Invoice processing: receiving, recording and tracking invoices from our suppliers

Payment processing: ensuring timely payment via electronic transfers in multi-currencies

Record keeping: maintaining accurate records of invoices, payments, and supplier balances.

Communication: Communicating with suppliers but mostly with us !

Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of quarterly financial reports

KYC Management: maintaining our KYC data for issuance to people that want to know who we are, and sourcing KYC data from people that we want to know

Miscellaneous Purchasing and Office Administration tasks to keep us running !

Providing support to the team as needed

What we're looking for

Someone that is prepared to provide us with 16 to 24 hours per week of your valued time

Strong organisational and time management skills

Demonstrated experience as an Accounts Officer or Accounts Clerk in a similar role

Familiar with Xero accounting software and spreadsheet applications

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team

A self starter who takes pride in their work and wants to help those around them.

We are not a 9 to 5 business. We are a small team of four people operating from spacious and comfortable offices in West Perth. We have a very flexible work environment that can accommodate your weekly availability around family and other commitments. We expect everyone to put in enough hours during the week to get their work done, to enjoy your time in our office and then get out and enjoy life.
