About the role

Join the team at Hume Cardiac Centre as a part-time Medical Practice Assistant/Receptionist. In this vital role, you will provide administrative and clinical support to ensure the smooth running of our busy medical practice. What you'll be doing

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and coordinate the flow of patients

Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including data entry and filing

Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain a tidy and organized reception area

Ensure compliance with practice policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and colleagues

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail

Proficient in using medical software and Microsoft Office applications

A positive, friendly, and helpful attitude

Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry processes
