We are a Medical Practice and Skin Cancer Clinic in Terrigal NSW. We are looking to expand our friendly and supportive team with an experienced, highly motivated and proactive medical receptionist.

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist who has the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality with excellent communication skills. Duties include but are not limited to:

Multitasking multiple enquiries over the phone and in person

Work with GP’s and other allied health professionals to schedule appointments

Retrieve, file and organise patient medical records and reports

An understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule, Medicare claiming, private and bulk-billing, workers compensation

Essential criteria:

Previous experience working in a medical practice

Working knowledge of Windows-based software systems (eg Word and Excel)

The ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively in a team environment

Preferred but not essential:

Experience using medical software (Best Practice) is an advantage.

This position is Permanent Part-Time and we are looking for a new team member who is flexible and available to work 3 to 4 days per week. Remuneration will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
