About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an office assitant to join our front-desk team on a casual basis in our rooms in Gibbs Street, Miranda NSW. Start as soon as possible.

We are a private Specialist Practice in Renal Medicine consisting of four renal physicians and two medical receptionist staff. We have a welcoming and friendly office environment. We are seeking a suitable candidate to support our administrative staff on Monday (all day), Thursday (afternoon) Friday (morning) and Saturday (morning) and to assist with the holiday relief roster.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors, and managing reception duties

Scheduling appointments and managing the practice calendar

Organising and maintaining medical records and files

Assisting with the processing of invoices and payments

Providing administrative support to the medical team and reception team as needed

Ensuring the practice maintains a clean, organised and welcoming environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a medical office or administrative role

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in computer and IT skills, previous experience using medical practice management software would be an advantage

A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively

A passion for working in the healthcare industry and supporting patient care
