About the Role:

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to join a thriving, family-oriented construction team who work across Central and Northern Queensland?

This is a dynamic position offering a mix of office and on-site flexibility. Our client values attitude and communication over age or background. They are looking for candidates already established in the Project Management space.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of commercial unit builds up to three levels, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the internal team to drive project success from start to finish.

To succeed, you’ll need:

• Strong understanding of finishes, scheduling, and programming.
• Proactive approach, excellent communication, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Experience using Project Management software with strong understanding of Australian construction regulations and safety standards.
• Experience delivering multi-level commercial unit builds or similar.
• Ability to build rapport with subcontractors and work closely with internal teams.

Responsibilities:

You’ll be a collaborative, solutions-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be comfortable working with high-end clients and have a sharp eye for detail. If you’ve previously worked in T1 or T2 environments, your structured approach will be highly regarded.

• Develop and manage project schedules and programmes to ensure construction milestones are achieved on time and to a high standard.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure compliance with policies, performance standards, and project requirements.
• Assist with developing construction budgets, sourcing quotes, and managing procurement processes, including permits and subcontractor contracts.
• Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately, while maintaining client and stakeholder reporting requirements.
• Manage project defects from Practical Completion through to Final Completion, ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are met.
