About the role

As an Accounts Officer at Australian Broker Network Pty Ltd (ABN), you will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial records and providing support to the accounting team. This full-time position is a key part of our head office team.

What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions

Reconciling bank statements, trust account management and general ledger accounts

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements

Providing administrative support to the accounting team

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Participating in month-end and year-end closing processes

What we're looking for

Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications

Insurance Broking Experience

2-5 years of experience in an accounts officer or similar role

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Good time management and organisational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly desirable - experience with Winbeat/Insight Broking platforms or the ability to quickly acquire these skills
