About the role

Join our dynamic team at Norwest Orthodontics as a Dental Receptionist. In this full-time role, you will be the friendly face of our practice, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients. Working in our modern clinic located in Bella Vista, Sydney, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our specialist dental practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

Handling patient inquiries and booking requests over the phone and in person

Typing and preparing documents to be issued

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information

Assisting patients with payments

Providing administrative support to the dental team as required

Promoting positive patient experiences and building strong relationships with our patients

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within a dental or healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with patients of all ages

Excellent organisational and time management skills to effectively manage a busy schedule

Proficiency in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office suite

A warm, friendly and professional demeanour with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
