About the role

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team at the Melbourne St Dental Studio in South Brisbane, Queensland. As a key member of our dynamic practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued patients, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting the smooth operation of the dental clinic.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients with a warm and professional manner
• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments efficiently
• Handling patient inquiries and addressing any concerns in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information
• Assisting with billing, invoicing and payment processing
• Providing administrative support to the dental team as needed
• Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and maintained

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or similar customer service role
• Experience in using Exact software is a must due to the limited time of training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Strong organisational and time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks effectively
• Proficient in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable
• A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
