About the role

Smile On Clinics, a leading dental practice in Gosford NSW, is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist (2IC) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our clinic.

What you'll be doing

• Manage front-of-house reception duties, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling telephone and email enquiries
• Assist the Head Office Management in administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and inventory management
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
• Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures
• Assist with the training and supervision of junior reception staff

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a dental reception or similar healthcare administration role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, dentists, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
• Proficient in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when required
