About the Role:

We are seeking a part-time (30 hours p/w) Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team at ITF Hire in Parramatta, NSW. As Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

This role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 3.30pm. The salary is offered on a pro-rata basis, based on a full-time salary range between $70,000.00 to $80,000.00, exclusive of superannuation.

What you'll be doing

Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients based on contract terms and sales agreements.

Receive and record payments from clients via various payment methods and apply payments to client accounts accurately and promptly.

Reconcile customer accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing inquiries and resolving disputes in a timely manner.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding invoices, account balances, and payment inquiries.

Follow up on overdue payments, maintaining a professional and proactive approach.

Perform credit checks and assist with processing credit applications for new customers.

Assist in month-end processes, including reporting and preparing financial documentation.

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Proficiency in accounting software (experience with MYOB or Xero is highly regarded).

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.

Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
