About the role

We are currently looking for someone to join our office team as an accounts payable and receivable officer for the duration of one of our colleagues maternity leave.

This position involves overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting and preparation of reports for tax submission. Additionally, there is some crossover support to assist the wider administration office where required.

What you'll be doing

Manage the accounts payable procedure - receive accounts, direct to appropriate approvals, program for payment and remit.

Manage the accounts receivable procedure and keep up to date records

Prepare weekly cash flow budgets

Prepare relevant reports for submission to accountants, directors etc.

What we're looking for

Experience in accounts payable and receivable.

Experience with budgeting and forecasting.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to contribute to our team.

Tertiary qualification in relevant field preferred but not required.

Collaborative and proactive approach with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes

Office based.

What we offer

Initially 5 days per week for 4 months, options to vary this in the future upon request.
