A busy Southside cafe looking for a experienced Head Chef.

This will be a full-time role, rostered to work 36 hrs a week, no nights.

Established venue going on 8 years wanting the continue what our current Head Chef has worked hard to create.

In this role you will be responsible for seasonal menus, weekly specials, daily operations, kitchen hygiene/maintenance, COGS budgets and staff performance.

Kitchen communication and organizational skills is a must

Strong Leadership and good management is key, leading by example

You'll be working closely with a small team and a full time support role. Collectively we're motivated about providing diverse seasonal menus, warm atmosphere and a unique experience to the community, our staff & customers.

Skills & Experience:

- Understanding of breakfast and brunch menus, with the ability to innovate and enhance creative dishes.

- Leadership Experience- Ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

- Must be organised and have great time management skills- managing inventory, ensuring food safety/hygiene, and optimizing kitchen efficiency.

- Good knowledge or produce and costings, stock control and ordering experience-

- The ability to produce high quality food in a busy environment
