Your new company

Working collaboratively with multiple organisations in differing industries, this very successful and culture-driven, family-owned business have experienced sustained growth for a number of years and looks to continue in this vein. As a result, they're currently on the look-out for an experienced, people-focused, Operations Supervisor to join their team in West Melbourne.

Your new role

Along with supporting the wider transport operations team, you'll be tasked with:

• Managing customer enquiries - updates on expected delivery times, delays, and any other issues
• Data entry for KPI achievement
• Assistance with vehicle route planning
• Regular driver liaison throughout the day
• Daily engagement with the wider team to ensure working order of the fleet
• Closing out of operations for the day
• Reporting of all HR matters to management
• Oversight of OH&S
• Communication to the wider team about daily events and other matters
• Involvement in regular toolbox meetings

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in working with a large 3PL transport operation
• The willingness and character to connect with the wider business
• Supervisory or team lead experience in an operational environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with various teams
• Strong experience in communicating regularly with drivers
• Excellent time management skills
• An outgoing and consultative nature

• $85,000 - $95,000 + Super
