About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator / Contract Admin to join our team at Directitude in Sunbury, VIC. This full-time role will see you providing critical administrative and coordination support to our iconic commercial hospitality and retail projects, with a focus on quality and accuracy.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and manage project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, authority application and permits
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Maintain and update project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Procurement management, liaising with suppliers/contractors to obtain quotes, letting orders and coordinating long lead times
  • Obtain necessary contractor documentation for compliance
  • Assist with the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts
  • Support the implementation of contract management processes and procedures
  • Identify and resolve any contractual issues or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and provide reporting on project progress and performance

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a contract administration or project coordinator role, ideally within the building / construction / fitout industry
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite,
  • Preferably experience using Procore and 1Breadcrumb
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Building & Construction, Project Management or Contracts Management, is desirable
