We are seeking an experienced Factory Floor Manager to lead our production and warehousing operation. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, working alongside the National General Manager. A solid track record in factory floor management and highly developed leadership and people management skills are vital to the success of the role.

Essential Criteria:

A minimum of 5 years’ factory floor management experience

Manufacturing, production and warehousing experience

Factory machinery experience

Demonstrative people leadership and communication skills

Ability to work hands-on with machinery and tools

Ability to read plans and WSD

The role

The Factory Floor Manager is based in the factory and is responsible for all manufacturing and warehousing activities within the workshop, whilst ensuring deadlines and efficiency are met every time.

Duties and tasks include:

· Management of the production schedule and allocation of tasks to ensure timelines are met

· Reading plans and workshop drawings

· Daily engagement with departments to ensure all required materials are ready for production and installation

· Leadership, supervision and management of the factory team

· Responsibility of the quality, efficiency and accuracy of fabrication and warehouse tasks

· Hands-on production operation when required

· Responsibility of all factory machinery, including inspection, management of maintenance and safety schedules

· Supervision of all factory inventory and inbound/outbound activity

The successful candidate will:
