About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Production Manager to join our team at GREEN TIMBER TECH PTY LTD. Based in Orange NSW 2800, this is a full-time permanent role that will play a crucial part in overseeing and optimising our production processes to ensure we continue to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective production plans and strategies to meet sales and operational targets

Manage and oversee the day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal use of resources

Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations

Lead and motivate a team of production personnel, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards

Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the manufacturing, fabrication & logistics industry, with a focus on production, planning & scheduling

Strong technical knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control

Strong technology focus and ability to implement digital systems and adminstration

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive operational efficiency

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is highly desirable
