About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Nominated Supervisor to join us in making a difference in the lives of the staff, children, and families in our care. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will be responsible for:

• Nominated Supervisor for 5 centres ranging from 2 children to 45 children at different services.
• Ensure the services within your area comply with the National Quality Framework (NQF), including the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of OSHC educators to deliver programs that promote children’s learning, development, and well-being.
• Monitor the quality of care provided, conducting regular assessments and maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Liaise with families, stakeholders, and the community to ensure a collaborative and inclusive approach to service delivery.
• Implement policies and procedures to continuously improve service quality and child outcomes.
• Take responsibility for the daily management of the service, including staffing, resources, and budgeting.
• Oversee the coordination of activities, ensuring they are safe, engaging, and meet children’s developmental needs.
• Provide guidance and support to assistants, educational leaders, responsible persons, assisting with professional development and performance reviews.
• Assisting with maintaining the required administrative records and ensuring compliance with both the regulatory standards and the policies & procedures of NWCC

Some Details

• Permanent Full-Time position - 38 hours per week
• Two ‘Staff Wellbeing Days’ available each year on top of accrued leave
• This role is a out of ratio, unless needing to fill in for one of your team members
• Once you've settled in, you will have the opportunity to complete part of your admin from home
• Uniforms and laundry allowance provided

About You
This role is part of the leadership team of NWCC. Success will require you to be able to demonstrate the following characteristics or achievements:

• Diploma in School Aged Care preferable
• 5 years experience as a Nominated Supervisor
• Experience as a Service Coordinator of multi centre sites
• Experience managing a diverse team
• You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and development of staff skills
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge of childcare compliance and operations
• Experience in self assessment and Quality Improvement Process
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• The Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• As a childcare professional, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and ‘My Time, Our Place’
• You will hold current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certificates
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willing to attain
• You will have a current Working with Children Check
• You are able to demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and values of NWCC
