Client Details

A proud ASX-listed company, our client has a strong national presence and due to the strength of their projects, is now seeking to strengthen its finance function with this new hire.

Description

Reporting into the General Manager for Finance, this role will play an integral role in supporting the company's data analysis and reporting. Key duties and tasks will include:

• Completion of monthly financial accounting
• Cost and variance analysis
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Preparation of reporting backs
• Financial system development
• Support GM Finance in managing allocated projects
• Act as a Finance Business Partner for operations

Profile

The successful candidate must possess a CA/CPA qualification, with a prior background working in a commercial accounting environment. Key traits will also include:

• Background working in surface mining environment (desired)
• Prior Management Accounting or Project Accounting background
• SAP system experience (desired)
• Ability to meet competing deadlines and work in a dynamic team environment
