About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Management Account to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the company's accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic guidance to drive financial performance. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.

Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure robust financial governance.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

Manage external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Oversee cash flow management, treasury operations, and banking relationships.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Support executive management with actionable financial insights for decision-making.

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to foster continuous improvement and professional growth.

Implement and improve financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience (typically 3–6+ years) in a senior accounting role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.

Experience with financial management software.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership abilities and experience managing teams.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification

Experience in Motor Dealer / Caravan Industry
