About the role

We are seeking experienced Chefs and Cooks to join our talented culinary team at the Post Office Hotel Cloncurry in Cloncurry, Queensland. As a full-time member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare high-quality meals and dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients

Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items

Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen

Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Respond to customer feedback and special requests

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef or Cook in a similar hospitality setting

Formal culinary training or qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Demonstrated expertise in a range of cooking techniques and cuisines

Strong time management and multitasking abilities

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene practices

Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
