Aarav Trading Pty Ltd is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team at The Coffee Club Chinchilla. This role involves preparing and cooking meals, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Requirements:

At least one year of experience in a commercial kitchen.

At least a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and / or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food quality.

Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications.

Maintain portion control, presentation, and consistency.

Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Assist with kitchen prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and carry out routine cleaning.

Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation (FIFO).

Minimise food wastage through proper portioning and storage.

Work collaboratively with the team to maintain an efficient kitchen operation.

Adapt to peak service times and changing business needs.
