At Provide Another Mother, we are looking for a stellar HR & Recruitment Officer to join our growing team and help us recruit, retain and nurture top talent to support our mission.

At Provide Another Mother, we are more than just a cleaning company – we are a caring, community-driven business that provides specialized domestic services to NDIS participants and the wider communities across Brisbane.
With an on-field team of over 70 individuals, our team is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, offering not only cleaning and home care services, but also fostering meaningful relationships built on trust, respect, and compassion.

Role Overview:
As our HR & Recruitment Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our business here in Cleveland, playing a crucial role in ensuring that we attract, hire and retain employees who share our values and passion for making a difference.
From managing end-to-end recruitment processes to supporting staff development and in turn the growth and success of our organisation, your work will directly impact the quality of care and service we deliver to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing and selection, ensuring we attract diverse and qualified candidates.

Collaborate with management to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to meet those needs.

Prepare and issue letters of offer, employment contracts, and new employee packs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.

Facilitate comprehensive orientation sessions for successful candidates, ensuring they are fully integrated into the company culture, understand their roles, and are equipped with the necessary resources and information to succeed.

Support employee training, development, and retention initiatives to promote a positive and growth-orientated workplace.

Assist with compliance related to employment law, and workplace regulations, particularly in the context of the NDIS sector. Effectively facilitate and promote health and safety within the workplace.

Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements, and streamlining of operations to enhance overall efficiency.

Foster a positive and inclusive company culture where every team member feels valued and supported.

Qualifications and Attributes:

Proven Experience in Human Resources, recruitment, or a related field, ideally within the NDIS or social care sectors.

Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and the recruitment lifecycle.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to connect with people.

A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Social media Savvy, with the ability to effectively leverage platforms for recruitment, employer branding and engaging with potential candidates and existing team members.
