Development Manager – Land Subdivision Projects
Join a leading Property Group in their Melbourne office. With a strong legacy in residential and mixed-use developments, this is an exciting opportunity to lead projects from land acquisition to completion while shaping the future of the Melbourne office.

You will report to the Development Director and manage all aspects of the development process, ensuring seamless project delivery and alignment with company goals.

The Role:
As the Development Manager, your role will involve:

• Coordinating with various stakeholders, overseeing planning and design phases.
• Managing budgets, schedules, and project programs.
• Ensuring the successful delivery of the two high-quality developments.
• Supporting the growth of the Melbourne office.
• Work with architects, planners, and engineers to ensure projects meet regulatory and company standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and local councils.
• Work closely with Construction, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure projects adhere to industry regulations, including Australian building codes and permit requirements.

The Foundation For Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Development Manager, ideally in residential and mixed-use projects.
• Strong knowledge of land acquisition, planning, design, and construction.
• Leadership skills to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication & negotiation abilities with stakeholders.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Familiarity with Australian building codes, regulations, and real estate market trends.
• Proficiency in construction and project management software.
