Finance Officer - Executive Assistant

Your Role & Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Management
•Reconcile bank and credit card transactions.
•Manage accounts payable, including data entry, invoice processing, payment scheduling, and supplier account reconciliation.
•Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance.
•Assist in BAS preparation and lodgment.
•Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
•Identify and implement process improvements.
Payroll Administration
•Assist in processing payroll for ~40 employees using MYOB and Deputy.
•Handle payroll-related administrative tasks, including onboarding, superannuation, terminations, payroll tax, and PAYG.
•Resolve payroll queries efficiently.
Executive & Office Administration
•Manage calendars and emails for senior executives.
•Coordinate travel arrangements for company directors and team members.
•Oversee general office administration and process improvements.
•Implement effective time management practices within the team.
What We’re Looking For
•Experience: Proven background in bookkeeping, accounts, and administration. Executive assistant experience is highly regarded.
•Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MYOB, Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook), and general accounting software.
•Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to multitask independently.
•Problem-Solver: Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
•Team Player: Comfortable working in a small team environment, taking initiative, and supporting colleagues when needed.
•Confidentiality & Integrity: Commitment to handling sensitive business and financial information with discretion.
