Our client is a prominent organisation in the public sector, seeking an experienced fleet and facilities officer to join their team on a FTC basis for 15 months. Based in Melbourne's CBD with easy access to public transport, they offer a convenient and well-connected workplace. This role requires a skilled professional with expertise in fleet management and proven experience as an Asset/Facilities Officer.

Description
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Fleet Management & Compliance: Oversee vehicle leasing, delivery, fit-outs, FBT tracking, and reporting.
- Fines, Insurance & Maintenance: Manage infringements, insurance claims, and coordinate repairs with drivers and service providers.
- Usage & Reporting: Track mileage, arrange vehicle swaps, and maintain fleet reports on leases, drivers, and usage. Reporting will be conducted via excel.
- Facilities & Security Support: Attend to office maintenance, security passes, trade access, and general property requirements.
- Financial Administration: Process purchase orders, review invoices, and assist with fleet budgeting.
- Policy & Procedure Updates: Review and update relevant policies and procedures as needed.
- Any additional ADHOC duties, as required.
Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in administrative support of fleet management and facilities.
- Experience with Fringe-Tax-Benefits (FTB).
- Hold strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to liaise with vital stakeholders such as truck-drivers and other fleet related stakeholders.
- Have intermediate-advanced Excel skills, being able to use basic formulas, pivot tables, and v-look-up functions.
