Haines Gas Services is a family-owned and operated company located at Erina. Operating for over 47 years, Haines Gas Services provides a range of gas services to the Central Coast, the Greater Sydney Area as well as Regional and Remote NSW.

Role Overview:

As our Office Assistant, you will be a key member of our small team, primarily responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our internal and external stakeholders.

You will demonstrate a high level of initiative and be self-motivated, as there will be times when you are working independently in the office. As such, you will be an honest, reliable and trustworthy individual with a strong work ethic and methodical approach to your work.

We are looking for a confident operator and a quick learner who has the ability to pick up new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle customer enquiries and transactions in store and over the phone.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounts, scheduling requirements and booking accommodation.

Support our workshop technicians and field staff to help manage their workload and ensure the business is operating at optimum efficiency.

Data entry and preparation of documents and itineraries for our technicians and management.

Requirements:

A strong communicator with exceptional customer service skills.

Proven experience in office administration and customer service, preferably within in a trade or workshop environment.

Ability to develop and manage genuine relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including tradespeople, retail customers, corporate clients and government representatives.

Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable preferred, ideally with exposure to accounting systems including Reckon.

Must be available to commence work at our Erina premises at 8:30am, Monday to Friday.

Must be available to work during the NSW School Holidays (Autumn, Winter and Spring only).
