Oceania Engineering Services (OES) is a Perth based, owner-operated company providing specialised heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) & refrigeration solutions to the marine, offshore and resource sectors. Our philosophy is built on developing absolute trust with the customer, delivering exceptional service, quality documentation and reporting, providing the operator with impartial advice and everything required to confidently make informed decisions regarding their HVAC&R plant.
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals for an Office All-rounder/Administration Officer role.
The role provides diverse, challenging, and exciting work fronts, with scope and responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
Office Administration
Support of the procurement department
Phone and email customer/supplier communication
Xero and Ascora data entry
Assisting with incoming and outgoing freight
Reviewing HSE documents
Taking and distributing HSE meeting minutes
Booking staff medicals, training and flights/accommodation as requested by management
Creating and distributing HSE and Cyber Newsletters
General reception duties
Additional admin duties as required

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, the successful applicant will have the following characteristics:
Enthusiasm with a willingness to learn
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (aural and written), customer service and time management skills
Professional demeanour in dealing with clients and external stake holders
Proactive, self-motivated, resourceful, engaged & driven
Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a cohesive team
Safety-first approach with adherence to OHS&E requirements
Flexibility and a positive attitude
Essential:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience with Xero Accounting Software or similar accounting package
Previous experience in an administration position
Desirable:
Experience with Ascora Job Management Software or similar package
Experience/qualification in Business, HSE, QA or relevant field
