Coastal Podiatry
Part Time Receptionist
Monday -Thursday. 28 Hours week.
At Coastal Podiatry, we believe healthcare should feel personal, professional, and genuinely supportive—especially for those who need it most. We’re a predominantly mobile service, delivering in-home care to the ageing population across the Sunshine Coast. Our focus is on helping people stay mobile, independent, and confident in their everyday lives.
We’re now looking for a warm, organised, and people-focused Receptionist to join our growing team. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a key role in supporting our patients—many of whom are older adults or their carers—by answering enquiries, managing bookings, and providing a calm, friendly voice on the other end of the phone.
This is more than just a front desk job. As our Receptionist, you’ll play a key role in creating a calm, welcoming environment for all who walk through our doors or pick up the phone. You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of the business—from booking and scheduling appointments and handling phone and email enquiries, to assisting with administrative tasks that keep the business running smoothly.
We’re after someone who takes pride in their work, loves interacting with people, and can juggle multiple tasks with grace and good humor.
What You’ll Be Doing
Greeting patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
Managing bookings and appointment schedules using our clinic software.
Answering phone calls and responding to email enquiries in a timely, respectful manner.
Processing payments and issuing invoices.
Supporting the clinical team with day-to-day admin, including scanning, filing, and data entry.
Helping maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
Ensuring patient confidentiality and a smooth, stress-free experience.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a receptionist, admin, or customer-facing role.
Confident communication skills and a genuine love for working with people.
Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
A calm, can-do attitude—especially during busy times.
Tech savvy and comfortable using clinic management systems (or quick to learn)
Someone who’s reliable, proactive, and takes ownership of their role.
