About Us
We are building Wurkbox, a custom-built job SaaS management system designed for the home service industry. Our growing team of six developers operates out of Revesby, NSW, and we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to help drive our project forward.
The Role
As a Business Analyst / Project Manager, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, defining project scope, and ensuring smooth coordination between stakeholders and our development team.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
Work closely with the development team to ensure successful project execution.
Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Conduct regular stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, ensuring timely resolutions.
Develop and maintain product roadmaps and documentation.
Support testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the software meets business requirements.
Facilitate clear communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
About You
Experience: 5+ years in Business Analysis and/or Project Management roles, preferably in SaaS or software development environments.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and product management best practices.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
Tools: Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
Industry Experience: Experience in the home service industry or job management platforms is a plus.
