About your new role
The Standards and Methods Analyst maintains and deploys the Business Analysis methodologies, tools and templates ensuring alignment with industry standards.
Responsibilities include:
• Maintains and refines Business Analysis standards and methods, ensuring processes and templates are maintained in line with industry best practice
• Supports training for Business Analysis staff
• Maintains a repository of the City’s Business Analysis knowledge database, best practices, and case studies and facilitates sharing of this information with the Business Analysis team
• Coordinate and report on Business Analysis lessons learnt
• Provide expert and specialist advice on Business Analysis in plain English, ensuring consistency and clarity of advice
• Provide mentoring and guidance on Business Analysis tools
• Keep abreast of and evaluate the effectiveness of new Business Analysis tools and techniques
We're looking for people who have:
• Bachelor Degree of Business Analytics or/and equivalent Business Analysis knowledge and experience
• Certificate of Coaching/Training and/or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years’ experience in business analysis, knowledge/experience of large-scale and transformational initiatives would be advantageous
Formal qualifications in at least one of the following (multiple qualifications are highly desirable):
• Certified Business Analysis Professional
• Entry Certificate in Business Analysis
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis
• Agile methodology Knowledge
• Project Management methodology knowledge
• BABOK framework knowledge
• BPMN 2.0
