The company has an opportunity for a motivated, highly organised and experienced office administrator with bookkeeper experience to join the team.
The role will suit someone who has suitable experience and would like to take the experience and skills into a local family business, who offers a relaxed atmosphere, autonomy and good work conditions.
This role is focused on providing administration and bookkeeping functions (AP, AR and Payroll) and to support the business owners with a broad range of administrative support - therefore office based experience is essential.
You will need to be adaptable, quick to pick up processes, reliable and keen to join a small team which is customer focussed.
Key Responsibilities:
All aspects of AR and AP (MYOB)
Daily bank reconciliations
End of month supplier payment runs
Weekly Payroll (MYOB) using third party timesheet system
Onboarding of new employees (MYOB), including preparation of employment contracts etc
Management of company motor vehicles: fuel cards, tolls, hardware leases, registration renewals
General office administration duties as discussed.
Key Skills & Attributes:
Minimum of 2 years experience with MYOB (AP, AR and Payroll)
Excellent computer skills across MS Office 365 – MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with Xero for related businesses – AP/AR
Ability to pick up new systems as there are multiple cloud based systems which integrate into our platform.
Excellent customer service and communication skills to include assisting in the showroom
Excellent communication skills with a mature and confident manner
Good timekeeping, reliable and committed
Highly organised and keen to learn
This role is based in our Gladesville office and will allow the right person to take ownership of the role and make this their own. Working in a pleasant office environment, the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. This will suit a person who lives local or has good transport options to Gladesville. This is a four day a week role - with flexible hours, subject to discussion.
Full handover and training will be provided for the right candidate. Immediate start is available.
