Notable Scribing Services is a small Canberra-based, owned and operated enterprise providing quality scribing and other recruitment services to a select group of Commonwealth and ACT Government agencies.

We currently have two vacancies in our scribing team to provide scribing services to our Commonwealth and State/Territory clients during job interviews. The role involves accurately taking notes, writing these up into our client's Selection Report templates, seeking referee reports (sometimes involving interviewing referees) and submitting high quality reports to our clients in a timely manner.

Our ideal candidate should be a former Executive Level APS or State/Territory government employees that has worked in a policy or technical role within the last five years. These qualifications are mandatory because our clients expect a certain degree of familiarity that is only gained through such experience.

These positions are ideal for persons that have recently left the public service, are between jobs, and/or who wish to contribute to the enhancement of the Commonwealth and State/Territory public services by supporting its recruitment processes. You can work as much or as little as you like.

Your employment contract will be on a casual basis which pays $65 per hour ($72.47 with superannuation) for interview attendance, with a minimum 3-hour payable for either onsite or video conferencing type interviews conducted at your home. We also offer you set rates for reports we ask you to write. We pay you on the completion of your work.

We pay 11.5% superannuation.

These are Canberra-based position and successful candidates will mostly be required to attend interviews in-person during normal business hours (i.e. 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). Sometimes interviews will be conducted virtually, but most of the time they are conducted are in-person.

These positions require a high level of trust and applicants can be expected to undergo police and security background checks. Applicants must be Australian citizens.
