We Travel - the leading platform for multi-day and group tour operators, is officially expanding into Australia and we're looking for our first Account executive in Sydney!

About the role
As an Account Executive at WeTravel, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our client base in Australia. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work from our modern Sydney office and from home as needed. You will play a key strategic role in achieving our ambitious sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the company.
You will be helping a lot of SME businesses, so a friendly approach, a passion for Fintech, a love of travel and most importantly, an eagerness to pick up the phone and speak with new people is what you will need to be a success in this role.
What you'll be doing
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the Australian market. Demo, call and close small-to-medium sized, multi-day tour operators.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements
Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients, you will look after the whole sales cycle.
Collaborate with our product and customer success teams to ensure clients receive an exceptional service experience
Contribute to the development of our sales strategies and processes, sharing insights and ideas to drive continuous improvement
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis
What we're looking for
Proven track record of success in new business development or account management, preferably within the travel or technology sector
Confidence to pick up the phone and make outbound, cold calls
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand and address client needs
Proactive and self-motivated, with a hunger to succeed and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
Eagerness to help SME business company owners expand their operations
We wil be really excited if you also have:
Some experience in inside sales via emails and calls
Prior experience in B2B technology sales, especially sales to small companies
Knowledge of Hubspot CRM or other CRM platforms

Attractive compensation: Base $80,000 AUD + Uncapped Commission (1st year OTE = $155K AUD, 2nd year OTE = $200K AUD)
