Backed by investment, they are on a considered growth path. To that end, an opportunity currently exists for a driven, results-focused Account Executive to join their growing Australia-based sales team and expand their footprint across ANZ.

About the Opportunity

As ANZ Account Executive, you'll sell advanced analytics software and related services including KNIME, Connected Services (Hosted Data Integration & ETL Services) and Power BI/Tableau Services, as well as other analytics consulting services. As they're experts in helping customers to identity and realise additional value from KNIME (and other advanced analytics software), there are ample opportunities to upsell / cross-sell and build fruitful, long-standing client relationships.

With an even mix of Key Account Management and New Client Acquisition, you'll target upper mid-market to enterprise customers (e.g. $150M to $1B+ in annual revenues) nationally - managing the entire sales process from lead identification to close, with help from pre-sales, etc. You'll particularly focus on existing (free) KNIME users - identifying and converting those in need of more processing power, governance, etc. to the KNIME HUB commercial platform.

You'll deal with IT, Data and Business Unit Leaders to identify and qualify data pain points / missed opportunities and collaborate with internal data strategy experts to deliver winning solutions. Typical deal values range from $100K to $400K+ AUD in licensing and support services, with sales cycles taking 6-9 months on average.

With an Australian-based consulting, implementation and support team with 20+ years advanced data analytics experience and dozens of high-profile / successful case studies, you'll have a lot to leverage when competing for business. You'll join a local and international team that pursue excellence by creating wins for all, driving continuous innovation and building purposeful solutions for their customers and partners.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll bring:

  • 2-4+ years B2B SaaS sales experience, with success in new client acquisition (from prospect to close)
  • A background in Business Intelligence SaaS, Data Analytics and Data Science Platforms, Data Integration Platforms and/or Machine Learning / AI Platforms (or similar) and corresponding consulting services, targeting IT / Data Teams in upper mid-market to Enterprise companies, is ideal though not required.
  • Experience using Value Framework and/or MEDDIC sales methodologies in previous roles will set you apart.
  • The ability to travel to the USA, Canada and/or internationally and have a valid passport is required.
  • Intangibly, you're an ambitious hunter with an entrepreneurial spirit who's eager to join a high-growth business with a world-class product / service offering - i.e. you're persuasive, results-focused, self-motivated and driven to win in competitive sales environments.
