About the role

Concrete Sleeper Retaining Walls Brisbane is seeking an experienced Transport & Dispatch Manager to join our team in Hemmant, QLD. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely distribution of our products to customers across the region. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the transportation of products from our warehouse to customer sites, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal utilisation of resources

Liaise with suppliers, carriers and customers to plan and schedule deliveries, addressing any issues or delays promptly

Monitor and analyse transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements

Oversee the dispatch team, providing leadership, training and support to ensure all orders are processed accurately and efficiently

Collaborate with the sales and production teams to align logistics with customer demands and production schedules

Ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and safety standards

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our logistics and distribution operations

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in a transport or logistics management role, ideally within the manufacturing or construction industry

Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Proficient in the use of logistics management software and data analysis tools

Thorough understanding of transport regulations, safety requirements and best practices

Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is highly regarded
