About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic sales team at Nunawading Auto as an Assistant Sales Manager. In this full-time, on-site role based in Nunawading, VIC 3131, you will be a key member of the management team, supporting the Sales Manager in driving sales performance and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the Sales Manager in leading and motivating the sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets
• Provide hands-on support in the day-to-day operations of the showroom, including customer engagement, product presentations, and closing sales
• Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives
• Provide training and coaching to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and excellent customer service
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales management or assistant sales manager role, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and performance metrics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Proficient in analysing sales data and using it to drive business decisions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
