This sustained growth has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Key Account Manager to join the team in Melbourne and contribute to the ongoing success of this iconic brand.

The Role
You will be responsible for driving sales and managing key national and state-based accounts across a variety of channels. With a focus on expanding the product range, improving margins, and strengthening relationships, this role is ideal for an account management professional eager to leverage their expertise to drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth across key channels.
  • Manage state and national key accounts, ensuring ongoing expansion and revenue growth.
  • Negotiate contracts with key customers and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct business reviews and performance analyses to track progress against sales objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
  • Support the development of strategic sales plans and actively contribute to sales meetings.

What You Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of account management experience, ideally within FMCG, with exposure to channels such as Major Grocery, Independent Grocery, QSR, P&C, or Foodservice.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven success in managing and growing key accounts.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to conduct performance analysis and deliver engaging business reviews.
  • A strategic, analytical mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
