We help young people build real careers, and it starts with opportunity. That's where you come in.
Position Overview
As an Apprentice & Trainee Manager, you'll support young people across Brisbane and surrounding areas as they start their careers through apprenticeships and traineeships.
You will split your time between visiting workplaces, checking in with apprentices, and connecting with businesses that want to provide workforce opportunities. It's balanced with time working alongside our team in the office, coordinating placements and making sure everything runs smoothly.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety – one day, you’ll be on-site with a host employer and the next, you’ll be mentoring a young person or coordinating placements from the office. It's practical, people-focused work where you’ll see the direct impact of your efforts.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting a caseload of apprentices and trainees, ensuring their success.
Partnering with local employers to create strong, sustainable placements.
Visiting worksites to ensure safe, productive environments.
Expanding WPC Group’s network of host businesses through community and industry connections.
Representing our organisation at local events and industry gatherings
What you'll bring:
A natural relationship builder - confident in engaging with business owners and young people.
Highly organised and adaptable, able to switch between fieldwork and office coordination.
Engaged in the local business and community landscape.
Committed to quality, compliance, and delivering strong outcomes.
A full driver’s licence and the ability to meet employment screening requirements.
This is a full-time, community-connected role with plenty of autonomy and purpose.
Salary is aligned with experience.
More than just a job, this is a chance to help shape lives and contribute to Queensland's skilled future.
If that sounds like your kind of work, let's talk.
