About the Role:
This is more than just a sales job. As a Technical Sales Representative, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers looking for premium timber flooring. Your role will involve understanding their needs, offering tailored recommendations, and ensuring they feel confident in their choices. From the first consultation to project completion, you’ll be involved every step of the way—making sure the flooring not only looks great but is installed correctly and built to last. Expect to visit worksites, liaise with installation teams, and build strong, lasting relationships with clients and industry professionals.
About You:
You’re not just a salesperson; you’re an expert in timber flooring, from the grain and durability of different wood species to the best installation techniques. You understand how to communicate technical details in a way that makes sense to customers, helping them feel confident in their investment. You’re proactive, results-driven, and great at building relationships. Whether you're advising a homeowner on the best flooring for their lifestyle or collaborating with a builder on a large-scale project, you bring knowledge, enthusiasm, and a solutions-focused mindset. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel around Sydney are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with customers, builders, designers, and architects to promote high-quality timber flooring solutions.
Offer expert advice on product selection, installation methods, and ongoing care.
Identify and follow up on sales opportunities to achieve business growth targets.
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide tailored recommendations.
Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry professionals.
Salary & Benefits
$90,000 to $110,000 Base + Super + Car / Allowance + Commissions
