THE COMPANY
Our client is a premier Australian manufacturer and supplier specializing in metal and composite hoses, thermal protection products, expansion joints, and fittings. Serving industries such as mining, oil & gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing, they deliver high-quality, custom-engineered solutions tailored to meet industry demands.

THE ROLE
This position requires a proactive individual capable of providing technical support and managing customer inquiries. Key responsibilities include:

• Responding to inbound customer inquiries and demonstrating expert product knowledge
• Assessing customer application requirements and recommending suitable products
• Processing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Coordinating with the Production Manager for job scheduling
• Preparing and following up on quotations
• Managing communication with customers via phone and email
• Liaising with local and international suppliers for specialized product requirements
• Collaborating with the Engineering Team for training and product support
• Assisting the External Sales and Engineering Teams as needed
• Coordinating with the Inventory and Purchasing Officer to source stock

THE CANDIDATE

• Previous experience in a technical sales or customer service role within an industrial environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret customer requirements
• Industry knowledge of industrial hoses, fittings, or related technical products
• Experience in technical support, internal sales, or service technician roles
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
