Turf Wicket Curator - Sportsfields and Leisure Facilities

• Salary: $73,902 pa + super + Allowance + 19 day month
• Location: Ringwood/Croydon

Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity within our Sportsfield maintenance team for an experienced Turf Wicket Curator.

We are looking for a dynamic Sportsturf specialist to provide expertise in the preparation of turf cricket wickets. This role will involve the preparation of wickets to a high standard at all of Councils sportsfields. We are looking for someone with a can do attitude and willingness to work at all venues within the Sportsfields and Leisure Facilities area with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

You will need to have:

• Experience in fostering a positive, empowering & participatory organisational team culture.
• Demonstrated experience in Turf Management specialising in turf wicket preparation.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding in contemporary turf management practices, turf renovation, cricket wicket preparation and irrigation systems.
