Turf Farm Hand and Machinery Operator:

Active Turf is looking for a delivery driver across Sydney and a General Farm Hand to assist in all round duties. You will be a vital part of a family run business, and no two days will be the same.

About us

Active Turf Supplies Pty Ltd is a family business – owned by Charlie and his wife Anne, Active Turf has been running for over 10 years. Charlie has been in the farming industry for over 25 years with plenty of hands on experience. The farms consist of 80 acres of quality weed free lawn. All of our farms are out of flood reach so our supply of grass will be available all year round.

We provide turf supplies to small suburban backyards through to company homes, schools, drains and sporting ovals.

The Job Requirements & Description involves but is not limited to the following duties/requirements:

· Must have a HR Truck licence, Forklift licence and White Card.

· Able to deliver across Sydney and surrounding suburbs.

· Assist with Harvesting, and general farm duties which includes operating machinery such as forklifts and tractors.

· Occasionally laying turf on job sites.

· Assist in general farm duties eg. setting up irrigation, loading trucks and wrapping pallets.

· Must have the ability to work as part of a team or Independently

· Must take pride in work & take care of all equipment used

· A friendly, positive attitude is required for customer interactions
