ABOUT THE COMPANY.

My Client based in the Greater Western Sydney is looking for a certified Building Surveyor to join their team for an immediate start. This is an initial 6 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension or transition to permanent.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Building Fire Safety Officer, your role will involve frequent communication with both internal and external parties to ensure the smooth execution of fire safety protection issues.

DUTIES.

• Managing Council’s Fire Safety Statement program
• Investigate and resolve complaints/inquiries on fire safety protection issues
• Represent Council in legal proceedings
• Enforce safety and building standards

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Qualifications in building surveying or other related discipline
• Accreditation as a Building Surveyor - Unrestricted OR Building Surveyor – Restricted (all classes of buildings).
• Class C Drivers License
• Working knowledge of the EPA and BCA
